About

The AI agent layer for your home. A local gethome hub is the brain: software for a small computer such as a Raspberry Pi, on your own Wi-Fi. Zigbee and Matter devices join it right from this app, and AI agents on it hear you, work your devices, write your automations and work out Zigbee devices they have never seen — on your own AI key. WHAT THE AGENTS DO • Ask the house. Say it out loud or type it: the assistant works the lights, presses the scenes and answers questions about your home. • Automations in plain words. Describe a rule — “porch light at sunset” — and it is written for you, drawn as a simple flow and switched off until you start it. Every run leaves a trace that says why the light came on. • Even unknown devices. Pair a Zigbee device the hub has never seen and an agent works out what it is, so it gets real controls instead of a blank tile. The assistant, the rules written for you and device recognition need a hub and run on your own OpenAI or Anthropic API key. WHAT ELSE THE HUB DOES • Share the home with family and guests, each with a role of their own. • History for temperature, humidity, air quality and power, from the last hour to the last week. • Home Screen widgets and a Control Center control for the devices on your hub. How to set up a hub, and its source: github.com/gethome-inc/gethome-hub A DASHBOARD THAT ANSWERS • See at a glance what's on, what's offline, whether the doors are locked and how warm it is inside. • Tap a card to switch it, or open it for the full controls: dimming, color, blinds and a thermostat dial that moves in half degrees. • Hold a card to move it where you want it. Favorites, rooms and scenes are one tap away. NO HUB YET? • Bring your Apple Home. Export a home from Apple's Home app and control its HomeKit and Matter accessories here, in two-way sync. The agents and the rest of what the hub does need a hub. • Or try a demo home: sample rooms and devices to look around, and nothing you do can break it. PRIVATE BY DESIGN There is no account to create. Your home lives on your iPhone and on your own hub, never on our servers. AI features are optional, run on your own OpenAI or Anthropic API key, and ask your permission before anything is sent. AND THE DETAILS • AI portraits of your devices, if you would rather have pictures than icons • Light and dark appearance Homes are where it starts: a studio, an office or a greenhouse runs the same way — one hub, one app, the same agents.
