About

Does your room echo? Find out in 2 minutes — and fix it. PolySound measures your room with your iPhone's LiDAR scanner, analyzes the acoustics with real physics (ray tracing, validated against actual measurements) and shows you exactly which absorbers you need and where — in 3D and right in your room via augmented reality. How it works: • Scan — slowly pan through the room once, done. The app captures walls, windows, furniture and materials automatically. • Measure — the built-in reverb test measures your real reverberation time (RT60) through your iPhone's speakers, in octave bands like a studio. • Listen — the listening demo makes the difference audible: this is your room now, this is your room treated. • Plan — a precise recommendation based on DIN 18041: how many absorbers, which thickness, on which wall. In AR you see the set on your real walls. • Order — the matching set (made in Germany) right from the app, with a transparent calculation: every surface, every element accounted for. Who is it for? Echoey home offices, home cinemas, podcast and music setups, living rooms, kids' rooms, practices and offices. Physics instead of gut feeling: PolySound computes ray tracing and Eyring/Sabine per octave band — and automatically reconciles the simulation with your real measurement. The room scan requires an iPhone with a LiDAR scanner (iPhone 12 Pro or newer Pro models). Without LiDAR you can try the app with a demo room.Read more
