About

Current Draw is a calm game of current and consequence. Power sources feed the components that crave them. Draw traces to wire each source to consumers of the same color, keep every part fed as the board grows week after week — and never let two colors meet on one line. Simple to draw, ruthless to untangle. HOW IT PLAYS • Wire — drag to lay a trace from a source to a matching consumer. Every cell spends from your trace budget; switch to Erase and it all refunds. Rethinking is free. • Match — only matching colors trade power. The pro move is one shared bus per color, pooling its sources to feed the whole net. • Feed — LEDs sip; coils and motors gulp. A ring of pips shows each part's demand. Let the ring fill and the part overloads. • Insulate — two traces touching one part shorts it. Tying two colors into one network is a cross-fault. Either is fatal in twelve seconds. Drop a bridge to route power through a part, or to let two lines cross without connecting. • Grow — every week pays out trace, and on a slower beat the board opens up, a fresh source arrives and a spare bridge lands. Every third week, choose one of three upgrades. Survive as long as your wiring holds. THREE BENCHES Start free on the 12V garage bench. One Full Unlock opens the 48V rig and the 400V grid — faster, denser and unforgiving, where the wire runs neutral copper and you trace every route yourself. FOUR BOARD FINISHES Soldermask is the classic green board, lit and glowing. The optional Finish Pack adds three more: the exposed copper of Bare Board, white linework on drafting blue in Blueprint, and Drafting Paper — parchment drawn in technical-pen ink, where a wire states its load by line weight instead of glow. Finishes are cosmetic. They never touch difficulty, scoring or leaderboards. BUILT NATIVE A hand-built, Apple-native game — designed for iPad and just as at home on iPhone. No engine bloat, no ads, no pay-to-win. • A board you can read — every part is drawn as real hardware: power modules, LEDs, displays, fans, motors and coils, each in cast glass over the substrate, wired with copper traces that warm toward gold as the load builds. • Instruments, not menus — the controls are a soldered module on the board, right down to the trace stubs dropping to their vias. • Built to be read — color-blind cues you can switch on (a shape badge per net, a line pattern per powered bus, and a CVD-safe palette), plus Dynamic Type and Reduce Motion throughout. VoiceOver labels the controls and speaks faults, week ticks and upgrades, though laying a trace stays a sighted interaction. • Best Runs — your own history, best first, and where you stand as a percentile instead of a rank with no denominator. • Game Center — leaderboards for score and weeks survived on every voltage, and achievements to chase. • iCloud — your runs and settings follow you across iPhone and iPad. • Up to 120 Hz on ProMotion. FAIR BY DESIGN The 12V bench is yours free. One optional Full Unlock opens both harder tiers — a single purchase that never expires. The Finish Pack is cosmetic and changes nothing about how the game plays. No ads. No tracking. No pay-to-win. Draw the line. Keep the power flowing.Read more
