Atlas Kids

Atlas Kids is the companion app for the Atlas family workspace. It's designed for hand-me-down iPads. Runs on iPadOS 16, so your 2017 iPad that's been sitting in a drawer can become your kid's chore chart instead of an expensive coaster. WHAT YOUR KID SEES • A morning routine column and an evening routine column. Big tap targets, emoji icons, princess or dinosaur theme (matches what the parent chose for them). • Each chore gets a tap-to-check. Tap again to undo if it was an accident. • Some chores have a built-in 10-minute timer ("Clean your room" runs a countdown they can race against). • Allowance pile that ticks up when they finish a paying chore. WHAT THE PARENT DOES • Open Atlas on iPhone or Mac. Settings → Family sync → "Share Atlas with…" → text the link to the kid's Apple ID. • Kid taps the link, chooses their avatar, and they're set. NO ACCOUNT FOR THE KID The kid never creates an account. There's no chat, no external links, no in-app purchases inside Atlas Kids. The parent's iCloud is the only place anything is stored. REQUIRES • Atlas (the parent app) on at least one device in the household • A shared CloudKit invite from the parent • iPadOS 16 or later on the kid's iPad PRICING Atlas Kids is free. You pay for Atlas on the parent device; Atlas Kids unlocks automatically.
