About

YourCelf is a private place for a family to share photographs. You make a Circle — your family, the cousins, the book club — and invite the people who belong in it. There is no public feed, no discovery, no strangers, and nothing to follow. Just the people you chose, and the moments you chose to share with them. Every photo you share with a Circle is sealed on your phone before it goes anywhere. The relay that carries it between phones holds only sealed blocks it cannot open, and neither can we. There is no account to create and no password to forget: your phone holds your keys, and only the people in your Circle can open what you send. WHAT A CIRCLE FEELS LIKE • Post a photo to the people in the room, and only them. • Reply with your own photo of the same afternoon — "Add yours" — instead of a comments section. • Love a moment. That's it. No follower counts, no rankings. • Someone new wants in? The person who invited them has to let them in. WHAT STAYS ON YOUR PHONE • Your photo library. YourCelf reads it on the device to find the days, places and people that recur, and gathers them into Story. To name a place, your phone asks Apple Maps about a photo's location — never the photo itself. Your photos are not uploaded. • A second look, if you want one. Turn on Sensitive Content Warning in iOS Settings and your phone checks each photo before it's sent, using Apple's own on-device framework, and gives you a beat to reconsider. The result never leaves the phone. • Your keys, your Circles, your history. Delete everything from Settings and it is gone from this phone, including every backup YourCelf made. WHAT WE CAN AND CAN'T SEE Settings → "What we can and can't see" lays it out in plain language. The short version: our relay can see which phone keys sent sealed blocks to which, how large they were and when. It cannot see what was in them. The one exception is a report. If you report a post, you send it to us unsealed — the photo, what they wrote, their name and yours, and your email if you add one — so a person here can act on it, within 24 hours. We keep a report ninety days, or a year from the day we pass it to the authorities if the law requires that. Report and block are in the … menu on every post and every reply from someone else. Blocking someone stops your phone sealing anything to them, and anything they send you is dropped when it arrives. YourCelf is for adults, 18 and over, and is currently available in the United States. Made by Lil Dog Productions, LLC. Questions: hello@beyourcelf.comRead more
