Cigalo

Cigalo helps you notify a vehicle's owner by message when a visible situation deserves their attention: a double-parked car, a blocked exit, headlights left on, a window left open, a leak, an animal shut in, or a risk of break-in. The flow is built for the real world: enter the number plate, choose one of the courteous reasons offered by the app, and Cigalo relays the notification when the vehicle can be reached. The owner can reply with a single tap, from a set of preset choices. Your contact details stay private by default: the sender sees neither the owner's phone number nor email address, and the owner sees neither the sender's phone number or email address nor their identity. Only in the case of a break-in can the sender decide, on a dedicated screen with no pre-ticked option, to share their own phone number and/or email address with the owner so they can be called back. Cigalo is neither a messaging app nor a social network: no free text between users, no chat, no public feed, no people search. The app cannot be used to follow a person or a vehicle. You keep control of what you receive: hide a message, block its sender (without knowing who they are) or alert Cigalo. Every alert is reviewed within 24 hours. Our usage rules have zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive behaviour. Main features: send a Cigalo notification from a number plate; choose a guided, courteous reason; receive notifications about your vehicles and reply with a tap; sign in with WhatsApp, email, Apple or Google, as you prefer; save your plates, correct a plate or its country, invite a co-holder or withdraw consent; display your plate's QR sticker, to show or to print; share your permanent Cicadation link, with its QR Code, and earn points; track your points and unlock badges in "Achievements"; choose what you make visible on your profile (everything is private by default); decide on sharing contact details only in the break-in flow; hide a message, block a sender, report abuse; export your data, request full access to your data or delete your account from the settings; use the app in twelve languages. Cigalo is designed to ease the small moments of tension around vehicles and help everyone give a heads-up without a face-to-face confrontation.
