About

You didn't decide to spend two hours in the feed. The feed did. Eclipsis is a productivity and parental app that helps you spend less time on your feeds and your phone. It removes the mechanics built to keep you scrolling, ends the scroll on its own, and shows you the hours it gave back. The cleanup is free for everyone. Eclipsis Pro adds the pacing, the AI filter, and Parent Mode, with the first month free for eligible new subscribers. LESS ADDICTIVE BY DESIGN (FREE) The engineered parts go first. Shorts shelves, Reels, recommendation rails, autoplay, engagement counts, sponsored posts, and "open in the app" nags are stripped out before you see them. Reddit, Instagram, X, and Threads open inside Eclipsis's own calm browser, with Facebook and LinkedIn in beta. YouTube and TikTok stay in Safari, where the Eclipsis extension cleans them up. What's left is the content you came for, and none of the machinery that turns five minutes into fifty. THE FEED RUNS OUT (PRO) This is the part nothing else does. After a handful of posts, each new one takes a little longer to arrive. The bottomless feed quietly reaches a bottom, and you put the phone down because there's nothing left to pull you. No popups. No countdowns. No lockout screen to tap through and resent. The page stays usable the whole time: read, search, comment, visit profiles. SEE THE HOURS COME BACK (FREE) Elements blocked, time on feeds, and your real device Screen Time, counted on your phone rather than on a server. Two days before a Pro trial ends, Eclipsis tells you what it has saved you so far, so keeping it is an informed decision. FOR THE APPS YOU CAN'T PUT DOWN (FREE) Choose them and they vanish: off the Home Screen, out of the App Library, gone from search. Not a block screen: gone. They return during a short daily window you set, then disappear again. Pair it with the included wallpapers and a text-only app list widget and your Home Screen goes quiet too, closer to a dumb phone than a slot machine. WITHOUT THE BOTS The AI Detector flags text that reads like it was written by AI on the websites you visit in Safari, free. The AI Feed Filter (Pro, early access) hides those posts inside your feeds across six platforms, on device and tuned conservative on purpose. MAKE IT STICK Tighten instantly, loosen only after a three-minute pause, so a weak moment can't undo a good decision. Parent Mode (Pro) adds a passphrase gate, guided child setup, a pace dial for every feed, outright app blocks, an adult content filter (beta) that stays on, and hardened Screen Time settings for a kid's phone. PRIVATE BY DESIGN No ads, no analytics, no tracking, and nothing is sold. Blocking, browsing, and usage stats stay on your device. What leaves it, and only when you choose to: if you create an optional account, your email, a device identifier, and your subscription status, so one subscription works on eclipsis.io and in the app; the diagnostics and screenshots you attach to a bug report; and a coarse location if you turn on the weather widget, sent to the forecast service. You can delete your account from inside the app. Eclipsis Pro is $3.99 a month or $29.99 a year. Eligible new subscribers get the first month free. Cancel anytime in Settings.
