Velikij Sbornik

Velikij Sbornik is a liturgical calendar for Orthodox faithful of the Michalovce–Košice eparchy. From any date it computes the liturgical day and prepares its services for you. WHAT IT COMPUTES • The tone of the week (1–8), the season (Octoechos, Triodion, Pentecostarion) and fasting days, from the paschalion • Fixed and movable feasts, marked by their rank in the Typikon (great feast, vigil, polyeleos) • Old (Julian) and new style — Pascha is always computed by the Eastern paschalion • The liturgical day begins with Vespers: from the evening the app already shows the next day THE DAY'S SERVICES • Each day split into Vespers and the morning services (Matins, Liturgy), with the tone and troparia • One tap lays moving bookmarks on the day's services — also for tomorrow, the evening before • A month view with the feasts and their rank WIDGET AND REMINDERS • Home-screen widgets for the old and the new style: today's day, feast, tone and fast at a glance • Reminders for the morning and evening services (every day, or Sundays and feasts only) and for morning and evening prayers — each worded for its own day • Tapping a prayer reminder opens the prayers directly DURING THE SERVICE • The liturgical texts are part of the app and work offline • Page numbers stay, so you can follow along with others in church • The screen stays on while reading; dark mode, bookmarks and highlights PRIVACY No account, no ads, no analytics.
