About
Standing in the aisle wondering whether the same thing is cheaper across the road? Scan the barcode and find out in a couple of seconds. OpenOrder.bot checks that exact product across the major Australian supermarkets, tells you which one has it cheapest, and shows what you'd save. - Scan a barcode, or search by name when the item isn't in your hand — the cheapest store is called out first, the rest listed underneath with the difference - Unit price ($/100g, $/litre, each) on every result, so multipacks and odd sizes compare honestly - Ask Siri "Compare a price in OpenOrder" for the cheapest store without opening the app; the same action works in Shortcuts - Plan the week's meals and see which store is cheapest for the whole shopping list - A Safari extension that puts competitor prices and price history onto the supermarket's own website, so you can sanity-check a "special" before it goes in the cart Every "cheapest" is worked out against fresh, in-stock prices for the same product. We read each retailer's public catalogue and keep the price history, so a "special" that's really just last week's price has nowhere to hide. Free, and no account needed to scan, search and compare. Sign in only for meal plans and recipes, or to set price alerts at openorder.bot. You can delete your account, and everything attached to it, from the Account screen in the app. The camera only reads barcodes and no images are stored. The Safari extension only sees the retailer sites you turn it on for. Australia only for now. UK and NZ next.Read more
