Mangala Media

Mangala Media is the media playback app used at Vipassana meditation centers in the tradition of S.N. Goenka. It plays the recorded instructions and discourses of a meditation course in the meditation hall, and provides translated audio to students on center-owned devices. This app is for meditation centers only. It requires an account issued to a center and a connection to the center's on-site Mangala media server. It is not a meditation app for the general public and has no content of its own. For the course teacher or center administrator (tablet): • Start and control the day's scheduled sessions in the hall • See what is playing and where each session stands • Manage the center's handheld devices and their languages For students who need another language (handheld device): • Hear the current session in the assigned language through headphones • Sessions are downloaded ahead of time, so playback continues if the Wi-Fi drops Free, with no ads and no in-app purchases.
