About
NewsDiary turns the news you read into something you keep. READ IT HERE Browse to any article inside NewsDiary and save it in a tap — or share a link from Safari. The page renders in your own logged-in browser, so articles that defeat other readers come through intact. LAYERS, ONLY WHEN YOU WANT THEM Add AI layers over what you are reading: a summary, a read on bias, fact-checks, background context, and the people and places involved. Each one names the model that produced it. Layers are off until you ask for them, so your reading stays clean. On iOS 26 and later, summaries can run on-device with Apple Intelligence — the article never leaves your phone. MARK IT UP Highlight passages, write notes, or record a voice note and have it transcribed. Your marks stay private unless you choose to share them. YOUR DIARY Everything you save lands in a personal, searchable diary, kept by day. Keep a reading list of what is next, and write your own posts when you have something to say. LOUNGES Closed groups for people who read together: shared articles, discussion threaded onto the exact passage, and end-to-end-encrypted chat. No public feed, no follower counts, no algorithm deciding what you see. PRIVATE BY DESIGN No ads. No third-party analytics. No tracking of any kind. Export your reading whenever you like, or delete your account and it is gone for good. Free.Read more

The in-app browser behaves like a browser: tap the address bar and type over it, clear it in one tap, and pick from pages you have read. Links that open a new window, page prompts, find in page and desktop sites all work now. Add any news site to your sources, even one we do not list - from Browse sources, or from the page you are reading. A site that publishes no feed opens the site itself, so you can browse it as you would anywhere. Tap a source to see its own latest stories, with a true unread count. An invite link now opens NewsDiary when you have it installed.
