About

Depart is a personal departure board for London commuters, built around the specific train journeys, bus stops, and Tube lines you actually use — not a general-purpose journey planner. LIVE TRAIN DEPARTURES Save the National Rail routes you travel regularly and see live departure times, estimated delays, platforms, and operator information at a glance. Tap any service to drill into its full calling-point timeline — see every station it stops at, whether it has already departed, and how many minutes late it's running at each point along the route. Train data refreshes automatically every 30 seconds by default (configurable from 15 seconds up to 90 in Settings) so the board stays current without you having to pull to refresh. BUS ARRIVALS Save the bus stops near home, work, or anywhere else you catch a bus regularly, and see live arrival predictions for the routes that matter to you, filtered down to just the lines you've chosen at each stop. Bus data refreshes roughly every 60 seconds. TUBE LINE STATUS Check the current status of every London Underground line in one list — good service, minor delays, or a full disruption. Tap any disrupted line to read the official TfL disruption description in full. Tube status refreshes roughly every 5 minutes. BUILT AROUND YOUR ROUTES Setting up Depart takes a minute: search for a station or bus stop by name, or let the app find ones near your current location, then save the specific journeys and stops you want on your board. Everything you add is arranged exactly the way you use it — reorder your journeys and stops, and enable or disable them without deleting your setup. PRIVACY Depart asks for your location only when you choose to search for nearby stations or bus stops — it is never used in the background, and it is never linked to your identity or sent anywhere it doesn't need to go. Your saved journeys and stops stay on your device. There are no accounts, no ads, and no tracking of any kind. DATA SOURCES Train departure information is provided by National Rail's Darwin data feed. Bus arrival and Tube line status information is provided by Transport for London's Open Data service. Depart is an independent app and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by National Rail, Network Rail, any train operating company, or Transport for London.Read more
