Grist: Brew Companion

Every batch. Every medal. Every milestone. Grist is the command center for homebrewers who keep records. Your recipes live in your brewing software, your MHP stats in a Google Sheet, and your entry history across a dozen competition portals. Grist brings all of it together on iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple Watch. COMPETITIONS Track every entry from registration through awards night. Grist reminds you before registration and entry deadlines, records consensus and highest scores, and keeps category medals and Best of Show placings side by side. Link each entry to the batch and packaging run its bottles came from. On Mac, bring years of history over from an Excel or CSV spreadsheet. JUDGE SCORESHEETS Record every judge's scoresheet: section scores and comments, off-flavor descriptors, bottle inspection, and judge details. Beer, mead, and cider sheets each use their own layout. Your entry's consensus and highest scores fill in from the sheets automatically. MASTER HOMEBREWER PROGRAM Connect your MHP sheet to see your current rank and exactly what it takes to reach the next one: styles, categories, and SMLCH counts, all the way up to Supreme Grand Master of Brewing. Browse your best score in every BJCP style. When a new score qualifies for an MHP award, Grist prompts you to submit the scoresheet. BATCHES, RECIPES & PACKAGING Connect Brewfather or Brewer's Friend and your batches and recipes sync automatically. Batch detail shows gravity, ABV, IBU, ingredients, and live gravity and temperature from a connected iSpindel or Tilt. Brew-day ingredient swaps are flagged instead of silently rewriting the recipe. Record a bottling or canning run in a few taps: Grist generates the batch code and deducts bottles, cans, and caps from inventory. INVENTORY Track your whole brewery, not just what goes in the kettle: fermentables, hops, yeast, water chemistry, packaging, cleaning supplies, and equipment. Ingredients sync from Brewfather, and low-stock alerts tell you the moment something runs short. REPORTS See your brewing career at a glance: entries, medals, score trends over time, average score by BJCP style, medal rate, and competition spend. View it by year or all-time. APPLE WATCH Check fermenting batches from your wrist. Complications show current gravity against target FG, temperature, and days in the fermenter. EVERYWHERE YOU BREW A free Grist account keeps your data in sync across iPhone, iPad, and Mac, and on the web at web.gristbrew.app. Sign in with Apple, Google, or email. GRIST PRO Pro tells you what to do next: • Your path to the next MHP rank. Sight turns your MHP scores into a plan for what to brew and enter to rank up. • Scoresheet import. Upload a judged BJCP scoresheet PDF and Grist reads every judge's scores and comments for you to review. • Competition entry slates. Sight picks which bottle-ready batches to enter, and in which categories, before the deadline. • Ask Sight anything. Ask about your batches, competitions, and MHP progress, and get answers that link back to your own data. • Competition search. Find competitions, including Circuit of America events, and add them with dates and fees already filled in. Grist Pro is available as a monthly or annual auto-renewing subscription, with a 7-day free trial. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel anytime in your App Store account settings.
