Lernt

Cramming for a test tomorrow? Shaky on chemical bonds? Drilling the verbs of a new language? Tell Lernt what you're studying and it builds the study set: flashcards, a quiz, and drills, ready in about a minute. Writing your own flashcards for five hours at the library builds character. So does Lernt, faster. When there's no energy left for one more study guide, type the topic and get to work. A FEW QUICK QUESTIONS FIRST Before it builds anything, Lernt asks what you actually mean and where you are with the topic. THE TOOL BELT Every set starts with flashcards, a 16-question quiz, and fill-in-the-blank. Add more whenever you want, aimed at the whole topic or one sub-topic: • Worked examples • Sort it • Complete the step • Guess first • Why? • Two cases • Two truths and a lie • A short lesson to read BUILD FROM YOUR OWN NOTES Upload a PDF or a text file, your lecture notes, a chapter, a study guide, and Lernt builds the set from it. Your files stay on your phone. They are never stored on our servers. PRACTICE THAT KNOWS WHAT'S DUE Lernt schedules your daily practice using successive relearning, the retrieval-practice method from Rawson and Dunlosky's research. Score 80% or better and a tool comes back after a longer gap: one day, then three, seven, fourteen, thirty. Miss it and it comes back tomorrow. Your daily list is never random.
