Flock Legends

Every bird outside your window is a legend waiting to be discovered. Flock Legends turns birdwatching into a collecting adventure. Point your camera at a real bird, snap a photo, and let AI identify the species. Each catch joins your ChickaDex, earns you points, and brings you closer to becoming a Flock Legend. RARITY STARTS WHERE YOU ARE An everyday bird in one place can be a rare find somewhere else. Flock Legends rates birds as Common, Uncommon, Rare, Very Rare, or Legendary based on how often they’re seen in your area. Explore somewhere new, and familiar birds might surprise you. BUILD YOUR CHICKADEX • Discover birds found near you, from backyard regulars to elusive Legendaries • Unlock each species' page with a fun fact, a description, and a reference photo • Save your own bird photos with the date and location of each catch • Sort and filter your collection to see what you’ve found and what’s still out there EVERY DISCOVERY COUNTS • Earn points for every catch, with a bonus for each new species • Climb ranks, from Beginner Birder to Flock Legend • Keep your daily streak going and watch your collection grow MADE FOR THE JOY OF IT • Free, with no ads or in-app purchases • No account or sign-up required • Your collection stays on your phone • Location is optional, and only an approximate position is used A FEW THINGS TO KNOW AI identification isn’t always right, especially with similar-looking species or distant, blurry photos. Use it as a starting point for discovery. An internet connection is required to identify birds, and fair-use limits help keep the app free for everyone. Reference photos come from Wikimedia Commons and are credited on each bird's page. Go outside. Look up. Your flock is waiting.
