About

IoT Parrot is the easiest way for hobbyists to control ESP32, Arduino, Raspberry Pi, and any other MQTT-capable device from one place. Point it at your MQTT broker — your own, or the IoT Parrot managed broker — describe the topics your devices use, and build a dashboard that actually matches your project. BUILD DASHBOARDS THAT FIT YOUR PROJECT Drag and drop switches, buttons, sliders, gauges, charts, text readouts, and map widgets. Every widget is bound to a topic you choose, so a dashboard can pull from one device or from several at once. CONTROL FROM ANYWHERE Publish and subscribe over MQTT with TLS. Connect to a broker on your local network — a Mosquitto install on a Raspberry Pi works out of the box — or to one reachable over the internet. AUTOMATE ON A SCHEDULE Run MQTT actions on cron-based schedules. Turn the lights on at sunset, water the plants every morning, cycle a pump for ten minutes twice a day. TAP AN NFC TAG TO FIRE AN ACTION Stick a tag by the door, on a workbench, next to the coffee machine. One tap publishes the payload you configured. ALERTS THAT REACH YOU Set conditions on your device readings and get a push notification and an email when a value crosses a threshold or a device stops reporting. SHARE WITH YOUR HOUSEHOLD Give family members read access to specific dashboards. Everyone sees the same lights, the same garden sensors, the same controls. MADE FOR TINKERERS No proprietary hardware. No lock-in. If your device speaks MQTT, IoT Parrot can talk to it. ABOUT THIS APP The iPhone app is a companion to the full web app at app.iotparrot.com. Dashboards, schedules, and alerts are controlled and monitored here; setting up brokers and devices and editing dashboard layouts is done on the web, where the bigger canvas makes it practical. SUBSCRIPTIONS IoT Parrot is free to use. A new account includes 1 broker, 3 devices, and 3 dashboards, and no payment information is required. Optional monthly plans raise those limits and unlock alerts, multi-device dashboards, and data logging: - IoT Parrot Hobby Monthly - 1 month - IoT Parrot Maker Monthly - 1 month - IoT Parrot Pro Monthly - 1 month Plans start at $2.99 per month (US). Prices vary by region and are shown in your local currency on the subscription screen in the app before you buy. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends. You can manage your subscription and turn off auto-renewal in your Apple Account settings after purchase.
