SnapCert Electrical Certs

SnapCert is a native iPhone and iPad app for UK electricians recording an Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR). Clients and sites, distribution boards and circuits, the inspection schedule, observations, test results, declarations and a draft PDF, recorded on site with or without a signal. WHAT IT DOES • Home opens on the job you left. Continue the last report, see what else is in progress, or start a new EICR from the plus button. • Jobs is the full catalogue of draft and issued reports, searchable by client, address or postcode. • Clients lists every client with their sites and each site's retest standing: certified, due soon, overdue, or not yet certified. Add a client from Contacts or import a client list from a CSV file. • One hub per report: setup, supply and earthing, boards and circuits, the inspection schedule, observations, test results and declarations, with progress shown on each section. • The inspection schedule follows the numbered sections you already work through (1.0 Intake equipment to 8.0 Prosumer's supply). Tap an item for the outcome pad: Acceptable, C1, C2, C3, FI, LIM, N/A, N/V, and X at the intake. C1, C2, C3 and FI open an observation. You choose the code; the app never assigns one from a reading. • New reports record BS 7671:2018+A4:2026 as their basis. Older reports stay readable. • Board Vision reads a board's circuit chart from a photo on the device and drafts the circuit list for you to check. • Draft PDF preview: export a watermarked preview of the report to print or share while you work. • Works offline. Records are saved on the device. Sign in with Apple, Google or email when you want the same records on your iPhone and iPad. ON IPAD The certificate is a full-screen workspace: the report's sections on the left, the page you are filling on the right. Tap a board, a circuit or a schedule section and that page replaces the one in view. Home, Clients, Jobs and Settings are the same product as on iPhone. WHAT IS PAUSED Issuing a completed, customer-ready EICR PDF is paused while independent review of the report against BS 7671 finishes. You can complete the whole form and export a watermarked draft preview. Issued reports already on your device stay as they are. STRAIGHT TALK SnapCert is paperwork software. You remain responsible for the inspection, the classification codes and whether a report is fit to hand over. SnapCert is not approved, certified or endorsed by the IET, BSI, NICEIC or NAPIT, and does not claim to reproduce the IET model form's exact wording. EICR only in this version: no Minor Works, EIC, EV or PAT certificates. PRIVACY Your records stay on your device unless you sign in. Signing in syncs them to your own account and a second device. Cloud sync is not an independent backup; retain exports where you need them. Photos and PDFs stay on the device. No analytics or advertising SDKs. Support: support@snapcert.app
