About
TimeSpot: your timer starts itself Most time tracking apps ask you to remember. TimeSpot does the remembering for you. Arrive at a work location and the timer starts. Leave and it stops. At the end of the week there is nothing to reconstruct, because it was written down while you worked. TWO WAYS TO TRACK WITHOUT TOUCHING YOUR PHONE For places you know in advance, save a work location and give it a radius between 10 and 500 metres. Your office, a regular client, your studio. Cross that line and the timer handles itself. For everything you could not plan, turn on visit tracking. There is nothing to set up. Your phone notices where you stop and for how long, and that happens on the device itself. A new client, a site you visit once, a job that came in this morning: it all gets recorded anyway. YOUR DAY, IN ONE SCREEN Open the day review and you see your stops laid out with the real arrival and departure times, the address of each one, and the driving time in between. Tap a stop, pick a project, done. Tell TimeSpot to always bill that address to the same project and the next visit files itself. Nothing becomes billable time until you say so. TimeSpot never invents an entry. TRACKING ON YOUR TERMS Set your work hours and your work days. Outside them nothing is recorded and the app stays quiet, so your evenings and weekends stay yours. Stops you never assign are deleted on their own. You can switch tracking off and wipe everything from Settings whenever you want. Rather do it by hand? The manual timer and manual entries work fine with location access turned off. PROJECTS, CLIENTS AND RATES Give every project its own day rate, its own workday length and its own client. Pick your currency. Link a work location to a project so visits land in the right place without you thinking about it. Lunch breaks come off automatically. Set a duration between 5 and 180 minutes, and override it per project when one client counts lunch differently. WHAT YOU EARNED TimeSpot turns hours into money as you go. Today, this week, this month, this year, per project or across everything. Round entries to the exact minute, or to 15 minutes, 30 minutes or the full hour, so the numbers match the way you invoice. REPORTS AND EXPORT Switch between week, month and year to see where the time actually went. Export any period to CSV or PDF when the invoice needs to go out. ON YOUR OTHER SCREENS Home Screen widgets on iPhone and Mac show today's hours and whether the timer is running. Your own iOS Shortcuts automations can start and stop it too. Sign in with Apple or Google and your projects, locations and entries follow you across your devices, so you can review a day on the Mac that your phone recorded. You can delete your account from inside the app at any time, and everything goes with it. WHO IT IS FOR Freelancers and contractors Consultants and service providers Tradespeople and field service professionals Anyone who works at more than one address Anyone who bills by the hour or by the day FREE AND PREMIUM TimeSpot is free with one project and one work location.
