About

SMLtags EMS gives verified first responders immediate access to a patient's emergency medical information at the scene. Tap an SMLtag with your phone and the patient's record opens: allergies, current medications, medical conditions, height and weight, emergency contacts, and any advance directives on file. BUILT FOR THE FIELD • Tap a tag. No typing, no searching. • Works when the patient cannot speak for themselves. • Allergies and medications first, with height and weight available for weight-based dosing. • Tells you when a section is genuinely empty and when the patient explicitly recorded "none", so a blank section is never presented to you as "no known allergies". CREDENTIALED ACCESS ONLY Access requires a verified account and a current license or certification on file. You add your credential in the app, and it is verified before emergency access is enabled. EVERY ACCESS IS LOGGED Opening a patient record creates an audit entry recording the time, your identity and device information, and the patient is notified that their record was accessed. This is a break-glass tool and it is built to be accountable. WHAT YOU NEED • A verified SMLtags EMS account with a current credential on file • A patient carrying an SMLtag SMLtags EMS does not diagnose, treat, or recommend treatment. It displays the information the patient chose to record.Read more
