About
Turn spoken ideas into text memos you can edit and find later. VoicePad transcribes speech as you talk, so you can capture a thought or meeting takeaway and put it to use as text. WHAT YOU CAN DO • Speak and edit See and correct your words as they appear. Undo and redo edits when you need to. • Start when an idea comes to you You can choose to start speech recognition when the app opens or use an iOS Shortcut. Bring your iPhone to your ear to dim the screen and help prevent accidental touches. • Find saved memos Browse memos in a list or calendar, then find them by keyword or date. • Sync with iCloud When iCloud is available, sync memos between iPhones signed in to the same Apple Account. Memos already saved on your device can sync too. You can still view and edit local memos while offline. • Listen and share Have memo text read aloud, share it with other apps, or save text shared from another app as a new memo after editing it. • Choose Japanese or English Switch the app interface and speech recognition language in Settings. YOUR DATA AND PURCHASE VoicePad does not save audio recordings. It stores text memos on your device and, when iCloud is available, syncs them with your Apple Account. App settings do not sync. There are no ads or behavioral tracking. VoicePad is a one-time purchase. There is no subscription or extra per-transcription charge. BEFORE YOU START Speech input requires microphone and speech recognition permissions. Recognition accuracy and availability depend on your surroundings, language, device region, network, and the iOS speech recognition service. Audio may be sent to Apple's servers for recognition. iCloud sync requires an Apple Account signed in to iCloud. Audio playback is not supported because recordings are not saved. VoicePad supports iPhone with iOS 15 or later. See the Privacy Policy for details.Read more
