MANOR

MANOR is the operations console for a MANOR home. Cameras, alarm, locks, climate, water and devices — one app, instead of one app per vendor. PLEASE READ FIRST MANOR is not a standalone app. It requires a MANOR home with an on-site edge box installed and paired. Without one there is nothing to sign in to, and downloading the app does not by itself give you cameras or a security system. CAMERAS Your whole property on one screen, every tile playing at once. No thumbnails to tap through, no play button on each tile — the wall is live when you open it. - A portrait tile anchors the entry camera at full height while the rest of the property fills the grid. You can reorder the grid yourself. - Tap any tile for full screen, with audio on cameras that have a microphone. - Two-way talk at the doorbell, and a ringing state on the entry tile when someone presses the button. - Pan and tilt from an on-screen d-pad, on cameras that support it. - Privacy mode drops a shade over a supported camera and says plainly that it is off — never a frozen last frame pretending to be live. - Tiles state what they are actually doing: connecting, live, or degraded. On a weak cellular link the grid keeps a rotating set of cameras live and labels the rest with the age of their last frame, rather than showing you a stalled picture. HISTORY A scrubbable day timeline, per camera. Detections are clustered and marked with person and vehicle counts, so you scrub to the events instead of through the empty hours. Variable-rate drag for fine seeking, 15-second skips, and five seconds of lead-in before each event. SECURITY - Arm stay, arm away, and hold-to-disarm. Scheduled auto-arming if you want it. - Garage door with a live driveway feed beside it — you watch the door while you hold to open it. - Smart locks with battery level, plus access code management. - Water leak sensors, and a shutoff valve you can close from the app. - Occupancy, and a panic button. - One event timeline for the whole property: alarm, doors, locks, cameras, leaks. Door and garage events link straight to that moment on camera. - Alarm notifications you can act on from the lock screen, including a one-tap disarm. CLIMATE Thermostat control, including Matter setup. Air quality with radon, PM2.5, CO2 and VOC. Dyson purifiers. A water meter that reads real usage over a day to a year and raises a banner when it sees a likely leak. DEVICES Lighting grouped by room, irrigation zones, connected vehicles, audio, and appliances. Cards appear only for the systems your home was actually commissioned with — you do not scroll past hardware you do not own. HOW IT WORKS An edge box on site handles the video and the detection locally. On your home Wi-Fi the app talks to that box directly. Away from home, live video goes peer-to-peer where the network allows and falls back to MANOR's own relay where it does not — there is no third-party video service in the path, and recordings stay in your home's own isolated cloud account rather than a shared pool. Sign in is Sign in with Apple only. There is no password to set, reuse, or lose. If you look after more than one MANOR home, switch between them from any tab. PRESENCE With your permission, MANOR uses your location in the background to set your presence to home or away, which feeds the occupancy card. You can decline and use everything else. MONITORING MANOR is self-monitored. It alerts you and the people you choose. It does not contact police, fire, or a central monitoring station, and it is not a substitute for a professionally monitored alarm service or for working smoke and CO alarms.
