About

Break Monitor times work breaks and tells you what they add up to. Someone on the floor starts a timer when a person leaves and stops it when they come back. Several run at once. That is the whole interaction — no badges, no terminals, nothing installed on anybody else's phone. WHAT YOU GET • A board of tiles, one per person, showing who is out and for how long • A log of finished breaks, grouped by day, with any entry removable • A dashboard: totals, a trend chart, a breakdown by break type, and each period measured against the one before it • CSV export that opens as a table in Excel rather than one mangled column — separator, encoding and date format all follow the locale ONLY TIME BEYOND THE ALLOWANCE IS REPORTED Every team has a break entitlement. Break Monitor reports what goes past it and leaves the rest alone. The entitlement is a right, not waste, and the app treats it that way. BUILT TO BE PUT DOWN MID-SHIFT A timer still running after two hours was forgotten, not observed. Each break type has its own cut-off, and a timer past it is closed at the expected length and marked as an estimate instead of inflating the figures. SET PER TEAM, NOT PER COMPANY Break allowance, shift length, the default and cut-off length for each break type, how long records are kept, and an optional hourly rate for cost estimates. A packing line and a night shift are not the same place, and they do not share settings. RECORDS THAT AGE OUT BY THEMSELVES Entries linked to a person are deleted automatically after a window you choose — 30 days by default. The long-term reporting figures are written without any reference to a person from the moment they are created. They are not anonymised later; they never identified anybody at all. ON EVERY DEVICE YOU SIGN INTO Records sync through your own iCloud account, so breaks can be logged on the floor and read at a desk later. Nothing goes anywhere else. There is no account to create, no server, no analytics and no third-party code of any kind. FREE, AND PRO Free covers one team of four people and seven days of reporting, for as long as you like. The CSV export is never locked. SUBSCRIPTION DETAILS: Yearly subscription auto-renews unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date. Payment is charged to your Apple Account. Manage or cancel anytime in your App Store account settings. Privacy Policy: https://ibkoch247.de/en/datenschutz/ Terms of Use (EULA): https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/ — Break Monitor is not a timekeeping, attendance or payroll system, and its figures are not a record of hours worked. In many countries short rest breaks are paid working time, and these numbers are not a basis for deductions. Recording information about identifiable people at work is regulated in most places, and those obligations sit with the organisation operating the app. If you are unsure what applies where you are, ask a lawyer or your organisation's data protection adviser before you record information about staff.Read more
