About

NODI is an electronic handbook for farmers. It records farming activities and finances for each season, so at the end of the season you know exactly whether you made a profit or a loss – instead of memorizing it in your head or writing it in a notebook that might get lost. WHAT CAN YOU DO WITH THE APP? • Season log – start of season, area, sowing date, rice variety. Multiple fields mean multiple seasons. • Work log – fertilizing, spraying pesticides, pumping water, renting machinery… along with the amount spent. The app automatically calculates it; you don't have to do the calculations yourself. • Weighing rice on harvest day – one weighing slip can weigh multiple types of rice, each with a different price; deduct tare weight according to a ratio (like "8 bags for 1 kg") or per bag; deduct impurities; determine whether the buyer or seller is responsible for loading and unloading costs; deposit and money paid, showing the amount to be paid. This function works even when there's no signal; it automatically sends the data when the network is restored. • Weather information for your field – taken from the Norwegian Meteorological Institute, including wind and direction, so you know before spraying. • Find services – combine harvesters, drone sprayers, laborers, rice transport boats… in your area. The phone numbers are real, and profiles will only appear after approval. THINGS WE SAY FRANKLY • The app is free for farmers. No advertising, no buying or selling within the app. • No inventory, no sales – this is your record-keeping system, not a store software. • The app does not proactively suggest pesticides: it doesn't list active ingredients or dosages. For severe cases, please consult agricultural extension officers or plant protection specialists. • The app clearly states that internet access is required for tasks, and we don't make empty promises that could lead to loss of your data. The feature for recording when there is no internet connection is still under development. YOUR ACCOUNT IS YOURS You can delete your account anytime, right in the app: Personal → Delete Account (at the bottom of the screen). Deletion is permanent data loss; there's no trash bin. You can also message us to have us delete it for you.
