SHOOT: Swap Business Cards

Swap business cards by tapping your phones at the same time. Ten people meet. Nobody reads out a phone number or spells an email. Everyone taps once, and everybody has everybody's card. SHOOT is a digital business card — and a social or personal one too — made for the moment people actually swap them: standing together, with no time to type. HOW IT WORKS 1. Stand together. 2. Someone says "shoot". Everyone taps the button at the same time. 3. You see who tapped with you. Remove anyone you did not mean to include. 4. Keep the ones you want. Cards save both ways: you get theirs only if they keep yours. That is the whole thing. No typing, no sign up, no waiting for anyone to accept. FREE, AND PRIVATE • No account. No email, no password, nothing to sign up for. • Free. No ads, and nothing to pay. • Your card goes to the phones beside you and nobody else's. We keep no copy. • Your location is used for a few seconds while everyone taps, so the app knows who is next to you. We never keep it. • Your contacts stay on your phone. Your address book never leaves it. • Even the person who made SHOOT cannot see who uses it, or who they met. YOUR CARD, YOUR WAY Ten designs to choose from: black and gold, clean and simple, soft and colourful. Put your photo or your logo on it. Carry three cards — business, social and personal. The one showing on your screen is the one you send, so you swipe to the right one and tap. Add your Instagram and LinkedIn. They show as small symbols on your card, and one tap opens the profile. WHAT YOUR PHONE'S CONTACTS CANNOT DO Your contacts know a name and a number. They do not have someone's Instagram or LinkedIn, because nobody types those in. They do not remember where you met. SHOOT keeps all of it, and lets you label people the way you think of them — a wedding, a client, the Tuesday class — so you can find them months later. Anywhere people swap contact details in a group. SHOOT needs two or more phones together. On your own, it will tell you that nobody else tapped — that is the app working, not failing.
