TrekMeet connects you with real people for real hikes. TrekMeet is available in Australia on Google Play. Plan your own walks, join local outdoor groups, and meet people who would rather be outside. Start with the trail library to see route maps, elevation profiles and difficulty. Build a solo plan with meeting details and weather, or join an event with a local outdoor group. Group and event chats give you a place to arrange the day together. Follow people you have walked with and form Trail Bonds with the ones you keep walking with. Your Journey keeps your walks, distance, elevation and earned badges together. You choose who can message you in Settings. TrekMeet is for people aged 16 and over. Discover brings together nearby events, photos from the trail library and morning Outdoor Whispers. This update includes a short note from me when you first open Discover, which you can read again in About. Account deletion now finishes cleanly on your phone. If your daily-whisper choice cannot be saved, the app tells you. I built TrekMeet after six years of leading volunteer hikes around NSW, with more than 400 walks and a community of 3,000 people. TrekMeet is now open to people aged 16 and over. Members aged 16 and 17 receive messages from their Trail Bonds only, do not share live location or publish walks, and are not shown in people search. On the profile of someone you follow, you can now read the walks they have shared with their followers. Group owners can see who is banned from their group and lift a ban. A report that fails to send now tries again on its own.
