About

Finish a habit and watch it come apart: a ribbon cut and thrown across the screen, a light that swells and goes out, a row that tears itself to pieces and comes back done. That's the whole idea. Finishing something should feel like something, and a checkbox has never felt like anything. SIX WAYS TO FINISH A HABIT You choose one to keep when you set the app up — Spin, Strike or Emoji — and Pro unlocks the other five. Each animation is drawn by the app itself rather than played back from a video, so it runs at your screen's refresh rate and answers the exact moment you let go. Each comes with its own set of colors, and Emoji throws whichever three you type. You set one per habit. Reading gets a ribbon, water gets a glow, the tax return gets whatever you think it deserves. A HABIT TRACKER THAT DOESN'T COUNT AT YOU No streak number to lose. No badges, no grades, no weekly report card. The app sends no notifications at all — it never asks where you've been, because it can't. Miss a day and nothing happens. That's deliberate. A tracker that punishes you for a bad week is a tracker you delete in a bad week. YOUR YEAR AS A DIAL Not a grid of squares. The whole year spirals outwards from the center, a spoke for every week and a mark for every habit you finished that day, drawn in that habit's own color. Spin it with a finger. Tap a month to bring it round to the top. Pull a habit sideways to edit it, drag the handle to reorder it, or undo today if you finished it by accident. PRIVATE BY DEFAULT No ads. No analytics, no crash reporting, no tracking of any kind. Your habits are never measured and nothing about you is ever sold. No account either. Nothing to sign in to and nothing to set up — your habits live on your phone and work in airplane mode. MADE TO BE LOOKED AT Dark and light. Five app colors. Seven habit icons. A slider for how long a long press should take, and a switch for haptics if you'd rather it stayed quiet. Phones and tablets, with the tablet laying its screens out in two columns rather than stretching the phone ones. SUBATOMIC PRO Every animation, including the ones added later, and all five app colors rather than the one it ships with. $1.99 a month, or $19.99 a year, charged to your Google Play account. It renews until you cancel it, and you cancel it in Play's own subscription settings. Everything else stays free, including every habit you've already made. ACCESSIBILITY There's no checkbox anywhere in the app, so every habit carries TalkBack's long-press action instead.Read more

Open any past day on the year dial and fix it: the dial zooms into that day, every habit is on it, and a tap marks one done or not. Every habit icon now acts out what it shows when you finish it. Pick light, dark or follow the system in Settings. Strike comes in Ruled, Wavy and Wild, and Emoji throws up to six of your own, chosen with a roll of the die.<br>
