Kriptis

Kriptis is a private notebook. Your texts, photos, videos, and voice memos stay on your phone and never leave it. PRIVACY IS NOT AN OPTION No account creation required. No servers. No synchronization. There is no Kriptis database anywhere on the internet: everything is written, encrypted, in your phone's memory. • Your notes and attachments are protected on the device • No ads, no trackers, no usage statistics • Data is excluded from iCloud and Google backups • No data is transmitted to anyone LOCKED, EVEN IN YOUR HANDS • Unlock with Face ID, Touch ID, fingerprint, or passcode • Automatically locks after a period of inactivity you choose • Lock folders and notes individually • Hidden preview in the app switcher A REAL NOTEBOOK, NOT A NOTEPAD • Nested folders, as deep as needed • Formatted text, photos, videos, and voice memos within the note • Document scanning and text recognition • Newsstand: Save a web page from the share menu • Instant search by title • Pin important items • Recycle bin with restore function • PDF export of all your notes • Light and dark themes, depending on your phone's settings • Fully French FREE Kriptis is free, ad-free, and has no in-app purchases. THINGS TO KNOW BEFORE YOU START Since nothing is copied to a server or your backups, losing or resetting your phone will permanently delete your notes. Exporting to PDF allows you to keep a copy wherever you want. This is the trade-off for an app that doesn't store anything locally.
