Laritas: Donazioni e Riuso

With Laritas, you can donate unwanted items and find free items near you. Free up space in your home, organize a pickup in your neighborhood, and give a second life to things that can still be useful. A read-it-all book, a game, an accessory, or a household item: what you don't use can be useful to someone else. Laritas connects those who want to donate with those looking for something to reuse, with local ads, applications, chat, and pickup confirmation via QR code. How it works Post an item Take a photo, add a description, category, and quantity. Choose the length of the listing and make your item available to the community. Find what you need Explore nearby donations and filter by category and distance. To apply, use the free virtual tickets provided by the app, which are renewed periodically and cannot be purchased. Wait for allocation When the ad expires, the donor selects a box in the anonymous application grid. The requester's identity is not visible during the selection process. Organize and confirm the pickup After the pickup has been assigned, the donor and recipient can arrange it in the dedicated chat. The recipient confirms the pickup by scanning the QR code or entering the pickup code in the app. Reuse near you Search among household items, technology, clothing, books, games, and other categories. Pickup is organized locally among users: Laritas does not offer shipping or couriers. A chat dedicated to your donation Agree on a location and time directly in the app. Notifications keep you updated on new messages and the assignment of items. Give value to your gestures Completed donations contribute to the donor's Karma. In your profile, you can also view an estimate of the environmental impact associated with reuse, expressed in kg of CO₂e. For every 25 kg of estimated CO₂e, you unlock a Laritas Tree: a virtual milestone that represents your journey. This does not correspond to planting a real tree. Environmental estimates are indicative and do not constitute carbon credits. Join the Laritas community The project is based in the province of Salerno, in Campania. During the pilot phase, the items available depend on the people participating in your area: you can contribute by posting your first donation. Download Laritas, free up space, and put back into circulation what can still be useful. Our future isn't for sale, simply donate.
