Every day you get 256 characters and spend them continuing a story other people are writing… or forking it to open a new path. Tomorrow you get 256 more, and the story will have moved on without you. HOW IT WORKS • Write 256. They fit in a coffee break and force you to write well. No blank page: there is always a story waiting for your fragment. • Continue or fork. If you don't like where it's going, open a branch. The community's hearts decide which path is the canon. • Come back tomorrow. Keep your streak, get notified when it's your turn, and read what happened while you were away. READING IS FREE AND NEEDS NO ACCOUNT Read straight through in canon mode, or choose your own path in explorer mode. See the whole story as a map: every branch, every open path. Follow the stories you love and the people who write well. A SHARED UNIVERSE Create characters, places and objects with a #name and use them in any story. When someone mentions your character, you'll know. REWARDS Achievements pay in characters: unlock them by writing, reading and giving hearts. Climb the weekly or all-time ranking. Share your best fragment as an image. PEOPLE WRITE HERE No fragment is generated: every one is written by a person. Stories in English, Spanish, Basque, French, Italian, Portuguese and German; the app speaks all seven. SAFE Mature content is labelled and hidden by default.
