Hoop & Bobbin: Cross Stitch

Hoop & Bobbin is a cozy cross stitch puzzle where every move adds a little more embroidery. Tap a bobbin in the basket and watch it roll once around the wooden ring of the embroidery hoop. On every row and column it passes, it stitches the first open point, but only if that point is its color. Any other shade blocks the line, so the real challenge is finding the right order, from the outside in. Stitch after stitch, the pattern appears on the linen. 🧵 HOW IT WORKS • Every hoop is a fresh little puzzle. Up to 5 bobbins roll around it at the same time. • A bobbin with thread left after its lap waits on a pincushion: tap it to send it around again. • You have 5 pincushions. If they are all taken when a bobbin comes back with thread, the threads get tangled and the level is lost. An optional video gives you one more pincushion for a second chance. • From level 3, the background and a brown outline are stitched too, just like on a real cross stitch chart: work your way in to reach the motif. 🪡 SPECIAL BOBBINS • Rainbow bobbin (from level 5): it stitches any color it meets. • Mystery bobbins (from level 7): their color stays hidden until they reach the front of the basket. • Twin needle (from level 9): it stitches two points of its color on each line. 📌 HANDY AIDS • Pin: one more pincushion for the current level. • Magic thimble: the bobbins on the hoop stitch right through other colors for one lap. • Seam ripper: sends a waiting bobbin back to the bottom of the basket. • You start with one of each.
