Gol Ya Poch: Persian Game

Gol Ya Poch is the Persian table game, played face to face over live video. One opponent. Thirty seconds. A bluff you have to sell with your own face. HOW IT WORKS One player hides the gol in a fist, out of sight, and shows both hands to the camera. The other player has thirty seconds to stake one, two or three points and call a hand. Both hands open on camera. Whoever was right takes the points — and if the caller was right, the gol changes hands. First to fifteen wins. THE WAGER IS THE GAME You are not guessing for one point. You decide what the round is worth before you commit. Guess big and be wrong, and you have handed your opponent three points and the gol as well. Once someone reaches twelve points they are in Shah Gol and every wager they make is worth double, so no match limps to the finish. YOUR FACE IS THE BOARD There is no chat box and no emoji. You read the person in front of you, and they read you. Stall, smirk, talk nonsense, or say nothing at all — the whole game happens between two faces. PLAY YOUR FRIENDS Follow the players you like. Anyone who follows you back can be challenged straight from the Play tab, and only people you follow can ever challenge you — a stranger cannot pull you into a call. Your profile shows your followers, time played and ranking, and the Ranking tab shows where you stand against everyone, or just your friends. PRACTICE FIRST A full practice mode is built in. No account, no camera, no opponent, no internet. Play a short match against the computer and learn the wager before you sit down opposite a stranger. FREE TO PLAY, NO ADS Five live matches every day are free, and practice is unlimited. Read the daily verse in the app for five more matches that day. There are no ads, and nothing in a match can be bought. Points are only a score inside one match; they cannot be bought or cashed out. GOL YA POCH PREMIUM Premium is an optional subscription that raises the daily limit from 5 to 100 matches: $9.99 a month or $99.99 a year (US prices; your local price is shown in the app before you buy). New subscribers get a free trial — 3 days with monthly, 2 weeks with yearly. The subscription renews automatically until you cancel it, and you can cancel anytime in Google Play > Payments & subscriptions. PRIVATE BY DESIGN Your video and audio are encrypted end to end and carried to your opponent through a secure relay. Nobody in between can see or hear them — not the relay, not us — and nothing is ever recorded. Your opponent never learns your IP address, and you never learn theirs. When the match ends, it is gone. SAFETY Every match has a report button. Report and block ends the match at once with no result, and makes sure you are never matched with that person again.
