FamilyPin: Family Locator

FamilyPin puts your family on one map, on each person's own terms. Everyone joins your family with a code, and each person chooses on their own phone what they share. Named places can alert you when someone arrives or leaves, SOS sends the family a location alert, and battery levels help explain why a phone stopped updating. WHAT IT DOES A switch that says what you share Each person picks Live, Places only, Pause until tomorrow or Off, on their own phone. Their screen always says in plain words what is being shared right now, and a notification shows whenever sharing is on. Sharing is always visible on that person's phone, and only they can change it. The family map See everyone who shares live on one map, with the place they are at, how long ago their phone last updated and its battery. A position that has not been updated for a while is shown faded, with its age, so an old dot never looks current. Places with arrive and leave alerts Name the places that matter: home, school, work, grandma's. Set the size of each circle on the map and choose whether it alerts on arrival, on leaving or both. Places only mode shares these arrivals and departures without showing where someone is. SOS Hold the SOS button for two seconds to send everyone in the family an alert with your location, then an update every minute for five minutes while the screen stays open. Add up to two phone numbers and the SOS screen offers to text them your location from your own messaging app. Tap I'm safe to stop the updates and tell the family you are safe. Check in One tap sends an "I'm here" to the family with your position, even when you are not sharing live. Battery Each person's battery level and charging state, and an optional alert to the family when a phone drops to 15%. Your alerts, your choice Choose whose alerts reach your phone. SOS alerts stay on whatever you choose. Is my sharing working? One screen checks location, permissions, notifications and battery saving, and tells you when your phone last reached the family, with the fix for anything that is off. Standard plan Two people, live sharing, two places with alerts, check-ins, SOS and battery levels. Family plan Up to eight people, seven days of location history for each person, as many places as you need, and quiet hours for arrival alerts. One plan covers the whole family, bought by any adult. The history is deleted after seven days, and each person can delete their own at any time. Private by design Your shared location is available only to members of the family you joined. It is never sold and never used for advertising, and there are no ads. Leave a family and your stored location history is deleted from it. Export your own data, or delete your account, from the app. WHO IT'S FOR Parents of teens and tweens, grown children and their older parents, and any family that wants to see each other on a map with alerts and an SOS button, where everyone can see and change what they share.
