About
EICR Pro is an offline certificate app for UK electricians. It produces the three documents the trade issues every week: the Electrical Installation Condition Report, the Electrical Installation Certificate and the Minor Electrical Installation Works Certificate, on the BS 7671 A4:2026 content. THE CIRCUIT SCHEDULE, BUILT FOR A PHONE Each circuit is a card, started from a preset: ring final, radial sockets, lighting, cooker, shower, immersion heater or smoke alarms. A preset fills the device and the cable, never a result. The measured Zs sits beside the maximum permitted value as you type it and is flagged when it exceeds 80% of that value, and a ring final's three end-to-end readings are checked against each other. On a tablet the same circuits show as the full grid. For circuit-breakers to BS EN 60898 and RCBOs to BS EN 61009, types B, C and D, the maximum permitted Zs fills in from the BS 7671 tables. For other devices you enter it yourself. NOTHING IS PRE-TICKED Every item on the schedule of inspections starts unanswered. "Mark section acceptable" tells you how many items it will set and asks first. Coding an item C1, C2, C3 or FI opens its observation, and a report cannot be issued with an item unanswered or a coded item left without its observation. THE OVERALL ASSESSMENT, WITH ITS REASON The overall condition is worked out from your codes and shown with the reason. A C1 or C2 makes the report unsatisfactory. C3 (improvement recommended) and FI (further investigation) are advisory and do not decide it. You confirm the result before issue, and the app will not issue a satisfactory report that records a C1 or C2. ALL THREE CERTIFICATES - Condition report: client and reason, extent and limitations, supply and earthing, particulars at the origin, boards and circuits, schedule of inspections, observations with photos, next inspection and the declaration - Installation certificate: design, construction and inspection and testing signatories, or one signature where one person did all three - Minor Works: the circuit altered or extended, its test results and your declaration - Start the next certificate from the last one at the same address: boards, circuit descriptions, devices and cables come across, and every result and answer starts empty THE PDF Report pages are portrait and the schedules of circuit details and test results are landscape, one grid per board. Your logo, the serial number of each test instrument and your signature. A draft carries a DRAFT mark. REMINDERS AND SHARING - A reminder 60 and 30 days before each address's recommended next inspection, with a screen for when Android holds one back - A ready-written email or text to the client that you check and send yourself - Each share is logged with who it went to and when YOUR RECORDS STAY ON YOUR PHONE No account, no sync and no desktop needed. One backup file holds every certificate, signature and photo, and restores on another phone without deleting anything already there. WHO IT IS FOR Sole-trader and small-firm electricians, including electricians carrying out landlord EICRs. WHAT IT IS NOT EICR Pro records the inspection and testing you carry out. You, as the competent person, are responsible for every result, code and assessment it records. Certificate layouts are EICR Pro's own, based on the model forms in Appendix 6 of BS 7671. Not affiliated with or endorsed by the IET, BSI or any certification scheme. EICR Pro does not notify building control or a scheme. The app works with no account and no connection. Crash and usage diagnostics are sent so faults can be found and fixed. Questions: support@clearstackapps.com Privacy policy: https://clearstackapps.com/privacyRead more
