About
A keyboard that makes you want to type. Brams is an Android keyboard inspired by 1960s German industrial design: few colors, simple shapes and every detail in service of function. The keys have depth, sink when you tap them and sound like a real mechanical keyboard. And one rule never changes: Brams has no internet permission. What you type never leaves your phone. KEYS YOU CAN FEEL • 3D keys with shadows, side walls and a matte texture that sink with every tap • 17 keycap shapes, including mechanical keyboard profiles like OEM, SA, DSA, XDA, KAT and MT3 • 22 color themes, each in light, dark and AMOLED • 16 Signature themes you unlock by typing, with Brams Points • Adjustable backlight and 12 gaming RGB effects: wave, waterfall, breathing, reactive, ripple, starlight, rain, fire and more, in 24 colors • Caps Lock light, animated key entrance and rounded top corners • Adjustable height and spacing, one-handed mode and a floating keyboard on tablets MECHANICAL KEYBOARD SOUNDS 14 sounds, many recorded from real keyboards: Mechanical, Magnetic, Aluminum, Cushioned, Springy and more. Space, Enter and Delete have their own sound. Adjustable vibration, with its own strength for the space bar. 62 LANGUAGES, OFFLINE AUTOCORRECT AND SUGGESTIONS Portuguese (Brazil and Portugal), English (US and UK), Spanish, French, German, Italian, Dutch, Polish, Russian, Ukrainian, Turkish, Romanian, Czech, Slovak, Slovenian, Croatian, Serbian, Bosnian, Hungarian, Swedish, Norwegian, Danish, Finnish, Icelandic, Estonian, Latvian, Lithuanian, Catalan, Galician, Basque, Irish, Welsh, Maltese, Albanian, Azerbaijani, Uzbek, Indonesian, Malay, Filipino, Vietnamese, Swahili, Afrikaans, Zulu, Hausa, Arabic, Persian, Urdu, Roman Urdu, Hindi, Hinglish, Bengali, Marathi, Telugu, Tamil, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Punjabi, Odia and Assamese. • Several languages at once, no switching • Dedicated Cyrillic, Arabic-script and Indian (InScript) keyboards; Telex for Vietnamese • Fixes typos and missing accents, and never learns its own mistakes • Completes the word, predicts the next one and remembers the emails you use • Swipe across the letters to type • QWERTY, AZERTY, QWERTZ, Turkish Q, Nordic, Dvorak, Colemak and BÉPO VOICE TYPING, ALSO OFFLINE Tap the microphone and talk. Your speech becomes text right on your phone. Brams only listens while the voice panel is open, and the audio is never saved or sent anywhere. EVERYDAY TOOLS • Emoji with search, your choice of size and suggestions as you type • Clipboard with text and images, pinned items and your choice of how long to keep them • Hold the space bar to move the cursor like a trackpad • A toolbar your way, including Switch keyboard • Text shortcuts and typing statistics with a weekly summary • With the phone sideways, the keyboard takes only half the screen REAL PRIVACY • No internet permission: the app cannot send anything anywhere • No ads, no tracking, no account • Incognito mode, and no suggestions or learning in password fields PAY ONCE No subscription, no in-app purchases and no ads.
