Official application of the SMART CAJAMAR program, from the Municipality of Cajamar, developed to facilitate public access to municipal services, expand communication between the public administration and citizens, and support actions related to public safety and the provision of municipal services. SMART CAJAMAR is a program focused on strengthening public safety through the integrated use of technology, intelligent urban monitoring, and the strategic use of data. The integration of information allows for increased prevention, identification, and response capacity of security forces, providing greater agility in responding to incidents, support for field teams, and better targeting of operational actions. The application brings these resources closer to the population, offering tools that allow them to request assistance, consult information, and collaborate with municipal security initiatives. SMART CAJAMAR positions technology as a direct ally of the population and security forces, contributing to a safer, more connected city prepared for the future. Main functionalities: 1. SOS Button The SOS Button allows the user to quickly request assistance in situations requiring attention from the responsible teams. Upon activation, the application will use the device's location to inform the response teams of the user's approximate position, assisting in identifying the location of the incident and providing greater speed in response. Each activation can generate a service protocol, allowing the request to be registered and tracked by municipal systems. The availability and accuracy of the location depend on the permissions granted by the user, the device's conditions, location services, and available connectivity. 2. Identification and consultation of restricted vehicle license plates The application allows the identification of vehicle license plates for consultation with the systems provided by the municipality. The license plate can be entered manually or identified through the device's camera, using character recognition technology to facilitate and expedite the consultation. When a license plate is identified, the application verifies the information available in the integrated systems, allowing the identification of situations that may require attention or action from the responsible teams. This feature was developed to support activities related to public safety, providing faster consultations and assisting in the identification of vehicles of interest to the competent authorities. License plate lookup by typing is subject to usage limits, defined to ensure proper use and service availability. The number of allowed lookups may vary according to the rules established by the municipality. License plate checks can only be performed within the territorial limits of the municipality of Cajamar. To use the functionality, the application may verify the device's location and request the necessary permissions to confirm that the user is in an authorized area.
