Do light and night sound too similar? L & N helps you practise hearing and saying the difference in English, Mandarin and Cantonese. LISTEN FIRST Choose a word pair and a round of 3, 5 or 7 words. Tap what you heard in order, then check each answer. Replay the pair when you want to hear the contrast again. SAY ONE WORD Listen to the model, record your attempt and see what the recognizer heard. Feedback explains the sound cues behind the result rather than leaving you with a bare score. If online recognition cannot identify a word, the app shows your waveform without guessing a pronunciation score. REPLAY YOUR TAKES Hear a saved recording on its own or after the model. Practice history stays on your device, subject to available storage. Clearing app data removes saved takes; there is no cloud recording backup.
