About

Hez Jouj brings the card game of Moroccan cafés to your iPhone, in 3D: a wooden table, a glass of mint tea on the side, real Spanish-suited cards, and opponents who hold their cards in hand, draw and slam them down right in front of you. HOW TO PLAY • 40 Spanish-suited cards (1 to 7, 10, 11, 12), 5 cards each. One card is turned face up in the middle to start. • On your turn, play a card of the same suit or the same rank as the top card. • The 2 – "Hez jouj!": the next player picks up two cards and misses a turn… unless they answer with a 2 within 3 seconds: the count goes up (4, 6, 8…) and moves on to the next player. Whoever picks up has finished their turn, even with a 2 in the lot. • The 7 is wild: it goes on any card and you call the next suit. Against a 2, only a 2 answers. • The ace – "Matl3bch!": the next player does not play… unless they answer with an ace: then the player after them is skipped. • Nothing to play? Only then do you draw a card — and your turn passes: even if it fits, you keep it for your next turn. • The first to empty their hand wins the round and scores the cards left in the other hands (7 = 25, 2 = 20, ace = 11, face cards = 10). First to the target (51, 101 or 201) wins the game. FEATURES • House rules: every Moroccan table has its habits, pick yours — 4, 5 or 7 cards, the ace sent back with an ace or not. Online, the rules of whoever opens the table apply. • Offline against the computer, 2 to 4 players, every player for themselves, three levels (easy, medium, hard). The computer never sees your cards. • Online: real players, 1 vs 1 or 4 at the table, with a nickname of your choice and 15 seconds per move; an absent player is replaced automatically. • Table with friends: open a table, share its code, pick 2 or 4 players and the target. • Your hand in a real fan: cards sorted by suit, well spaced and tilted toward you, playable cards get a fine golden frame, and a big hand turns under your finger. With a big hand, tap a card to lift it out of the fan, tap it again to play it. The card you just drew always stays in view, and a 2 you can play is circled by golden sparkles. • Big moments get their cinematic: when the 2s pile up, the camera rushes to whoever picks up. • The table speaks Darija: "hez jouj!", "matl3bch!", "karta we7da!"… with Moroccan voices. • Online and offline leaderboards, under your nickname. • Store: card backs and drinks (atay, ness-ness, Italian coffee) to unlock with the flouss you earn by playing — nothing to pay. • Several camera views, a Moroccan café in 3D (zellij, mint tea), graphics quality that adapts to your iPhone. • Interface in Darija, French and English. Hez Jouj is free and contains ads (banner, an occasional interstitial between games, an app open ad, and an optional video to earn flouss). In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, your consent is requested before any personalized ad, and you can change it at any time from the menu. The online mode uses an anonymous sign-in (no account to create). Your nickname is visible to the players at your table; you can report or block a player from the menu.
