A fun, interactive adventure game to help kids enjoy learning to spell - your child will create a hero, choose a quest and spell words in order to defeat monsters. They can find treasure, collect gold coins which they can spend on changing their hero's appearance, earn badges based on their progress, and even find eggs which will hatch into pets. The content is all kid-safe, with words drawn from the UK national curriculum and content all screened to ensure that there's nothing scary or inappropriate. All of the data stays on your device (or your iCloud or GDrive account if backed up/synched) - the developer doesn't see any of your data. There are no adverts. There's no no data gathering. There are no micro transactions (you have to earn gold to spend gold!). There's a one-time "unlock all features" option which unlocks additional hero slots, cosmetic upgrades and a parental metrics screen which shows the type of words which the player has struggled with, and which might benefit from additional repetition. This payment will also give ongoing access to new premium features as they are added. The intention is that the game can be played endlessly for free for its core purpose of helping kids to enjoy spelling practice, and the payment of the equivalent of £4 gives additional optional functionality for parents and families.
