Mühlewerk

Mühlewerk is nine men's morris, built as quietly and cleanly as the game deserves. No ads, no tracking, no subscription, no account. Just the board. PLAYING • Against the computer at three levels — easy, medium, hard. All three play by the rules, even when that costs them. • Two people at one device, taking turns on the same board. • Online against somebody else via Game Center. • Leaderboards and achievements via Game Center. RULES Placing, moving, flying. Nine pieces a side, a mill takes one of the opponent's pieces, and whoever falls below three pieces or can no longer move has lost. Repeated positions and repeated moves end in a draw. Nothing is simplified. LEARNING An introduction walks through every phase of the game in real positions: placing, closing a mill, capturing, moving, flying. Alongside it, a rules page to look things up. Both are always reachable and both can be skipped. HISTORY Every finished game is kept — mode, opponent, outcome and the full run of moves. Each one can be replayed move by move. STATISTICS AND PROFILE Every number is worked out from the history each time you open it, rather than counted up on the side. Delete a game and it leaves the record too. Games without a result — a lost connection, a technical end — are named as such instead of quietly becoming wins. Online games carry a rating worked out on the device. The app says plainly what it is: a local number, not a verified ranking. PRIVACY No advertising SDKs, no trackers, no analytics, no servers of our own. Mühlewerk computes on the device. Online games, leaderboards and achievements use Apple's Game Center — optional, and everything else works without it. ACCESSIBILITY For iPhone and iPad, light and dark. Text follows the system size all the way through the accessibility sizes. Each of the 24 points on the board has a name VoiceOver reads out, and no piece is distinguished by colour alone. German and English, both complete.
