About
Stellaria is a three-dimensional puzzle built from the most beautiful solids in geometry: stellations. Take a polyhedron, extend its faces beyond the edges, and the stars it was hiding appear. You assemble them, piece by piece. HOW TO PLAY Each piece falls toward its slot, already drawn on the solid and waiting for you. Tap one side of the screen or the other to turn it a quarter turn; when it matches, swipe up and it shoots into place. A misaligned piece bounces, stays in the air, and another one comes in. If the sky fills up, the game is over. Every second you save adds to your score, and rescues and master pieces lend a hand when things get tight. 28 POLYHEDRA, 234 STELLATIONS Platonic, Archimedean and Catalan solids, prisms, antiprisms, bipyramids and trapezohedra. Each one hides a series of stellations that grow layer by layer. None of the figures is drawn by hand: they are computed on your device, from the starting polyhedron and the same geometric rules used by those who cataloged them. THE 59 ICOSAHEDRA In 1938, Coxeter, Du Val, Flather and Petrie counted the fifty-nine stellations of the icosahedron, and Flather built them out of card, one by one. Here they are the final prize: you earn them by playing, and you can assemble them one by one in the palm of your hand. AND WHEN YOU FINISH ONE, PRINT IT Every completed stellation exports to STL. If you have access to a 3D printer, the figure you just assembled on the screen can end up on your table. NO ACCOUNTS, NO ADS The trial is free: four polyhedra with all their stellations, plus the guided game. The full game is a single purchase, forever. No accounts, no ads, no data collection. Game Center is optional: achievements and leaderboards if you want them; otherwise your records and your progress stay on your device. Paper, ink and vermilion: the visual language takes its vocabulary from El Lissitzky's Prouns. The sounds and the music are original, synthesized for this game.Read more

Each piece falls toward its slot, already drawn on the solid and waiting for you. Tap one side of the screen or the other to turn it a quarter turn; when it matches, swipe up and it shoots into place. A misaligned piece bounces, stays in the air, and another one comes in. 28 POLYHEDRA, 234 STELLATIONS
Platonic, Archimedean and Catalan solids, prisms, antiprisms, bipyramids and trapezohedra. Each one hides a series of stellations that grow layer by layer. None of the figures is drawn by hand: they are computed on your device, from the starting polyhedron and the same geometric rules used by those who cataloged them.
THE 59 ICOSAHEDRA
In 1938, Coxeter, Du Val, Flather and Petrie counted the fifty-nine stellations of the icosahedron, and Flather built them out of card, one by one. Here they are the final prize: you earn them by playing, and you can assemble them one by one in the palm of your hand.
AND WHEN YOU FINISH ONE, PRINT IT
Every completed stellation exports to STL. If you have access to a 3D printer, the figure you just assembled on the screen can end up on your table.

Back-to-back stellations no longer stutter when they start: the 3D view is now one and the same for the whole game. And the Game Center bubble no longer stays on screen once you leave the title screen.
