ShellBase is the SSH access your team already shares, with a record of who used it. Servers live in a team, not on a laptop. You add a machine once, decide who may reach it, and everyone connects through the same place. Credentials stay encrypted on the server and never reach the phone. A REAL TERMINAL Open a session on any server you have access to and get a proper shell: colours, resizing when you rotate, and a key bar above the keyboard for Ctrl, Esc, Tab and the arrows. Save the commands you type often as snippets and run them with a tap, or give them a short alias that expands as you type. A session survives the app. Close it, come back tomorrow, and reattach where you left off with the scrollback still there. FILES OVER SFTP Browse a server's filesystem, rename, move, copy, duplicate and delete. Create folders, change permissions and ownership, read a file and edit it in place. Uploads are chunked and resume after a dropped connection, and anything you download goes straight into the iOS share sheet. WHO IS DOING WHAT The sessions tab shows every live connection in your team: the person, their address, how long they have been on, what they have run, and how much of it a policy stopped. Terminate a session that should not be running. The audit log keeps every command with the person, the machine and the time, and it marks the ones that were blocked. Export it as CSV or JSON when someone asks for it. POLICIES THAT ACTUALLY STOP THINGS Write an allowlist or a denylist, with patterns and regular expressions, and scope it to the whole team, one server or one person. A blocked command never reaches the machine. It is recorded, and the person sees why. YOUR DATABASES, TOO The same access model covers PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis and Firestore. Browse tables, collections and keyspaces, page through rows, open a record and edit it field by field or as JSON. Run queries in a console with its own snippets. Writing is deliberate. A write runs in a transaction, the app tells you how many rows it would touch, and nothing is committed until you say so. Reach a database directly or through an SSH tunnel over a server you already have. Every query is written to the audit log with its shape, its duration and whether it was allowed. Export a result or a whole table as CSV or JSON. PERMISSIONS PER MACHINE Roles set the floor; per-resource permissions do the rest. Someone can see a server without connecting to it, run queries on one database and nothing else, or read the audit log and change none of it. The same applies to relays and to every database. Servers behind NAT reach the platform through a relay agent, so a machine without a public address is no different to use. SIGNING IN You sign in through the ShellBase web console with your password or a passkey, and the session comes back to the app. No password is typed into the app and none is stored on the phone. Destructive actions ask for Face ID first. BUILT FOR iOS The interface is native, and on iOS 26 the floating chrome is Liquid Glass. Everything else is plain and legible: machine values in a monospaced face, status in shades of grey, one colour reserved for what went wrong. ShellBase needs a team on shellbase.artim-industries.com. Accounts and billing are handled there; the app signs in to what you already have. Free, Pro and Enterprise plans differ in how many servers, databases and members a team may hold.
