About

CodeNote is a fully offline, on-device editor for handwritten mathematics and Python. Write mathematical expressions by hand, recognize them directly on your iPad, and turn them into executable mathematics. Plot functions, evaluate expressions, solve equations, differentiate, integrate, and work with probability distributions — all from handwritten input. MATHEMATICS CodeNote supports a wide range of mathematical notation, from common calculus to probability distributions and multivariable mathematics. • Functions and expressions • Derivatives and integrals • Gradients, Jacobians, Hessians, and Laplacians • Limits • Equations and symbolic expressions • Probability distributions • Mathematical plotting • Evaluation and solving Write a mathematical expression naturally in a math note and use the supported operations to explore or calculate with it. MATHEMATICS MEETS PYTHON Functions defined in a math note can be imported and used directly from a Python code note. This lets you define a mathematical function by hand, then use it as a Python module in your code. Math notes and code notes can work together as reusable computational building blocks. For example, a function defined in a math note can be imported into a Python note and called like a regular Python function: import my_math print(my_math.f_fn(10)) Python notes can also import functions and values from other code notes, allowing you to organize and reuse code across multiple notes just like regular Python modules. PYTHON CodeNote is a handwritten Python editor. Write Python code by hand and execute it directly on your iPad. DATA ANALYSIS CodeNote can also be used for working with your own data. Download CSV or other data files when needed, place them in the app's local storage, and analyze them directly with Python and NumPy. With Matplotlib, you can visualize your data and explore results without moving to a separate desktop environment. BUILT-IN PYTHON LIBRARIES CodeNote bundles commonly used Python libraries for scientific computing, visualization, mathematics, and networking: • NumPy • Matplotlib • SymPy • Requests This makes it possible to perform numerical computation, symbolic mathematics, data processing, function plotting, data analysis, and HTTP requests without installing a separate Python environment. HANDWRITTEN, NOT TYPED CodeNote is designed around handwritten input. Instead of switching between a handwriting app, a calculator, and a coding environment, write mathematics and Python directly in your notes and execute them where you wrote them. OFFLINE AND ON-DEVICE Code recognition and mathematical processing run on-device. CodeNote does not require a cloud service to recognize your handwriting or execute your Python code. Your notes and computations stay on your iPad, allowing you to work without an internet connection. CodeNote is made for quickly exploring ideas, sketching mathematical problems, testing Python code, analyzing data, plotting functions, and building small computational experiments wherever you are.Read more
