The background colour runs from deep red to deep green, ranked against every day since 1998. Green is not a recommendation and red is not a warning. They say only where today sits against twenty-eight years of history. WHAT MAKES THIS DIFFERENT Every number is traceable. Tap any indicator to see what it measures, which way it points, how it currently reads, its weight, how confident the reading is, and exactly how much it moved today's number. Every source is public domain. Federal Reserve Economic Data, US Treasury Fiscal Data, FDIC, CFTC, EIA, USGS and FEMA. No licensed market data is used or republished, which is why the history is complete and free of redistribution restrictions. This product uses FHFA data but is neither endorsed nor certified by FHFA. Readings are built from vintage data. The pipeline records what each series said on the day it was published, not what it was later revised to. A backtest on revised data sees the past more clearly than anyone could at the time; these readings do not. Twenty-eight years, one drag away. Scrub the history strip back through 2000, 2008 and 2020 and watch both readings and every indicator behind them move with it. Today is ranked against all of it, not judged on its own.
