About
Jellybean is a log for the people awake at 3am keeping very small cats alive. It does one job well: weigh, feed and log a whole litter of bottle babies in under a minute, one-handed, in the dark. Every tool on the night screen is a slider you can find without looking. No menus, no modes, no keyboards, and nothing to remember to finish. THE NIGHT SCREEN A true night palette — warm, dim, nothing pure white — meant to be left on beside the nest. Four instruments, all live at once: a gram tape for the scale, a millilitre tape for the bottle, two slide-to-log lanes for pee and poop, and a timer that sets the next alarm. Slide a value where it belongs and tap the number to log it. Nothing writes until you say so, and a mis-tap is one tap to fix. THE CHART IS THE POINT Weight, daily gain, intake and output, drawn in each kitten's collar colour. The chart is scaled to your litter and nothing else. When a line goes flat while its littermates climb, Jellybean says so in plain words — and then hands you the rescue's phone number. WHAT IT WILL NEVER DO Jellybean states what you observed and stops. It never tells you a kitten is okay. There are no green ticks, no "all good", no reassuring summaries, and it will never quietly downgrade a warning because there is a harmless explanation available. Absence of a warning is silence, not an all-clear. It is not a vet, gives no doses and follows no protocol of its own — every concern ends at "call your rescue". TRUE ALARMS The next feed is worked out from your own log, never set by hand: feed late and the schedule moves with reality. On iOS 26 it can ring like a Clock alarm, through silent and through Focus, because a sleeping foster does not hear a notification. MOM AND LITTER A nursing queen flips the app to watching rather than feeding: you log weights, what you saw, and how often each kitten was on. Mom gets her own record. If one kitten is being outcompeted, the chart shows it first. WHEN THEY LEAVE A one-page report for the vet or the rescue — weights, milestones, meds given, the curve. And a baby book for the adopter: the whole line from the first weigh to the last, the day the eyes opened, the photographs. Closing out a foster keeps every bit of it on a wall of the kittens you have raised. FREE, OFFLINE, NO ACCOUNT No sign-up, no server, no analytics, no ads, no subscription, nothing collected. It works in a basement with no signal. Your data is yours and leaves whenever you want it to, as a plain file with the photographs beside it. Built by a foster, given away. Jellybean is a record-keeping tool. It is not a veterinary device and does not diagnose, dose or advise. Care decisions belong to your rescue and your vet.Read more

THE NIGHT SCREEN
A true night palette — warm, dim, nothing pure white — meant to be left on beside the nest.
THE CHART IS THE POINT
Weight, daily gain, intake and output, drawn in each kitten's collar colour. The chart is scaled to your litter and nothing else. When a line goes flat while its littermates climb, Jellybean says so in plain words — and then hands you the rescue's phone number.
WHAT IT WILL NEVER DO
Jellybean states what you observed and stops.
TRUE ALARMS
The next feed is worked out from your own log, never set by hand: feed late and the schedule moves with reality. On iOS 26 it can ring like a Clock alarm, through silent and through Focus, because a sleeping foster does not hear a notification.
MOM AND LITTER
A nursing queen flips the app to watching rather than feeding: you log weights, what you saw, and how often each kitten was on. Mom gets her own record. If one kitten is being outcompeted, the chart shows it first.
WHEN THEY LEAVE
