Not that you are rotten, not that you are beyond it — just that you aimed, and it landed somewhere else. So the nightly question is not a confession booth. It is one question with three honest answers, and every one of them keeps your streak alive, including "it went wide". You are never punished for telling the truth. That is the whole design. The night rolls over at four in the morning, so a one o'clock check-in still counts for the night before. It is a practice, not a course.
