You're reviewing your first card within a minute of opening the app. Recall Deck is a spaced repetition flashcard app for iPhone and iPad, built around FSRS — an evidence-based scheduling algorithm that reviews each card right before you're about to forget it. Everything lives on your device. There's no account, no cloud dependency, and no subscription. WHAT YOU CAN DO • Create decks, notes, and cards — Basic, Basic+Reverse, and Cloze note types • Study with a 4-button rating (Again / Hard / Good / Easy) and see the next interval before you tap • Import your existing flashcard collection from a package file (.apkg) or a CSV/TSV file • Browse and organize — search by content or tag, sort, bulk-move between decks, suspend cards • Turn a photo of your notes or a textbook page into a flashcard, using on-device text recognition • Track your progress — today's reviews, retention rate, and the workload coming up, in simple charts • Back up automatically every day (7 generations kept), plus manual export/import to the Files app • Adjust your desired retention, daily new/review limits, and learning steps to fit how you actually study DESIGNED TO BE USED, NOT CONFIGURED Recall Deck starts you with a sample deck so you have something to study immediately — no empty screen, no setup wizard. The defaults (90% desired retention, 20 new cards a day, 200 reviews a day) work for most people; change them only if you want to. BUILT TO LAST Your data is stored locally in the app's own storage, with a daily automatic backup plus one-tap manual backup and restore. Export a single backup file to the Files app any time — useful before switching devices. ACCESSIBILITY Full Dynamic Type support, VoiceOver labels throughout, and AA color contrast.
