Driving across Europe gets complicated before you reach the first border. Build your route point by point, adding the distance from the previous stop, the country, and notes such as “buy the vignette in advance” or “ZTL in the old town.” The app totals the distance, counts countries and borders, and marks where a vignette is required. Stops can be reordered or removed when plans change. Add your car’s tank size and fuel consumption to see how many litres the journey should take, what that fuel may cost, and where to refuel before you drop below the reserve. If a section is longer than the car’s available range, you get a warning before setting off. Fuel stops can be marked as completed on the road. Build a budget for fuel, toll roads, vignettes, parking, and accommodation. Actual spending from the journal sits next to the plan, so overspending is easy to spot. The journal also calculates real fuel consumption per 100 km and compares it with the car’s stated figure. The garage keeps the vehicle’s registration number, fuel type, tank, consumption, and mileage together with its documents. Insurance, Green Card, registration, inspection, vignettes, and roadside assistance each have an expiry date. Expired items and those due within the next month are highlighted. Before departure, use the prepared European driving checklist for documents, the car, country-specific road rules, and comfort items such as a first-aid kit, safety vests, warning triangle, offline maps, and cash.
