About

Locked In: Prep for CRISC is an offline study app for the Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control exam. It is built on the published exam outline that ISACA labels effective 2025, and it follows that outline's domain weights: Governance 26 percent, Risk Assessment 22 percent, Risk Response and Reporting 32 percent, Technology and Security 20 percent. WHAT IS INCLUDED 35 topics, mapped one to one onto the published outline and distributed across the domains in the published proportions. 70 lessons, two per topic, one that teaches the idea and one that applies it. 175 original practice questions, each with a worked explanation. 105 flashcards and 70 glossary entries. 16 interactive scenario activities, four per domain, using sorting, sequencing and matching. A timed practice form of 50 questions in 75 minutes, drawn in the published domain proportions. Spaced repetition that resurfaces what you got wrong, progress by domain, bookmarks and search. HOW THE QUESTIONS ARE WRITTEN The questions ask for judgement rather than recall. Several answers are usually defensible, and the question asks which comes first, who decides, or what evidence would support the conclusion. The bank is written that way throughout. Every explanation says why the key is right and why the tempting wrong answer is wrong, so what you take away is the distinction rather than the letter. ANSWER ORDER AND ANSWER LENGTH Each question's options are dealt into a stable per-question order, so no option position becomes a habit. The position of the correct answer, and its length next to the other options, are measured across the whole bank and held near chance, so neither one becomes a shortcut. WHAT IS FREE 12 lessons, 12 questions and 12 flashcards in total, plus one scenario activity in each of the four domains. The free selection is fixed and spread across all four domains, so you can read lessons and work questions in every domain before deciding whether to pay. WHAT THE UNLOCK ADDS One payment, no subscription. It opens the full catalog: all 70 lessons, all 175 questions, all 105 flashcards, all 70 glossary entries, all 16 scenario activities, and the timed practice form. Restore Purchases is on the purchase screen and in Settings. PRIVACY The app works fully offline. There is no account, no sign-up and no network call. No ads, no analytics, no tracking, no data collection of any kind. Your progress stays on your device. ABOUT THE EXAM The exam is 150 questions in 240 minutes, and the pass mark is 450 on a 200 to 800 scale. Holding the certification requires continuing professional education hours every year. Confirm current requirements with ISACA before you register. INDEPENDENT This app is an independent study aid. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by ISACA, and it contains no official questions, answer keys or courseware. CRISC and ISACA are trademarks of ISACA, used here only to say what the app studies. The app is not an exam simulation. It makes no score prediction and offers no pass guarantee.Read more
