WhosThere app helps you notice people around you. To start, you create an account with just an email. You don’t have to use your real personal details. If you want, you can add a name, a short bio, and account names for Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X (Twitter), TikTok, Snapchat, or YouTube. That’s all optional. Once you’re in the app, you can see which other users are nearby — within about 100 meters. This works over Bluetooth. It does not use GPS or any other location system. It only works when someone is close enough for Bluetooth to pick them up. You stay in control. With one button, you can turn on or off whether other people nearby can see you. You can also turn on notifications for friends, family, or anyone else you care about. Then the app can tell you when they appear nearby. For example: > family members arriving home > a gym friend showing up nearby > school friends arriving at a party > coworkers appearing at your workplace That’s it: a simple way to know who from the app is close by, without sharing more than you want.
