Ink Fold: Overlap makes darker

Drag a piece onto the board. So far, an ordinary block puzzle. What is different: **overlapping is not cheating — it is required.** Every square carries a target shade from 1 to 3, and each piece that covers it adds one layer. A square marked 2 is only correct when **two pieces overlap on it.** The painting is finished when every square matches its target exactly. A placement that would overshoot simply will not go down. So the question is not "where do I put this" but **"what do I overlap."** Each board allows a fixed number of take-backs. Spend them all with no legal placement left and the run ends there. Unlimited undo means nobody ever loses, and a puzzle you cannot lose is not worth solving. **Barim**, a baby octopus, lays the first stroke on white paper.
